Welcome to another wonderful year! First of all, I want to thank all of the past board members for the excellent job they have done for MSDHA. They truly are amazing and we are privileged to have such outstanding role models. There are new board members this year and we look forward to serving the members and our community.
As an active member of ADHA for many years, I continue to enjoy learning about our ever changing careers and advancements in oral health. I realize there is always room for improvement and strive to do more. In the words of William Arthur Ward:
Do more than Belong, Participate.
Do more than Care, Help.
Do more than Believe, Practice.
Do more than Be Fair, Be Kind.
Do more than Forgive, Forget.
Do more than Dream, Work.
We can all do more. The amount dedicated professionals we have in our component is inspiring and helps to motivate each one of us. There are many benefits to being a member and I would encourage every hygienist to stay involved.
Together we are stronger!
This year we are planning a variety of topics, speakers and new venues. It is our hope that they will increase your knowledge, inspire you in your practice and accommodate different schedules. Future events will include a variety of local doctors and current issues affecting our patients and practices.
You can stay posted on our website, email and Facebook for details.
Thank you all for the opportunity to serve you and represent our component as delegate with FDHA this year. I look forward to what this year will bring.
Jenn Giles CRDH, BASDH
